I can&#039;t completely express how much I disliked the way that the agencies that I have previously worked for went about their business. Most of them were in the habit of using sliding rate scales, shifting hours from project to project, shifting finances to their favor, etc., etc., etc.

Also, Nolo published &quot;The Small Business Start-Up Kit.&quot; It has an Xcel chart that helps calculate hourly rates, based on the same principals that you mentioned above.  I picked up a copy at my local library!</description>
